This place was just a dream
It’s hard to describe the joy, awe and adulation that all three of us felt upon stepping into Debailleul on rue du Bailli in Brussels. It was a rare case where words and descriptions just aren't necessary.
O M G!!! You WENT there!! They were once at the Paris Salon du Chocolat Unforgetable!! They threatened that they were going to open up in NEW YORK!! WHERE ARE THEY? We need them so bad! I will have to go to Bruxelles next time! absolutement
Wow, they were at the Salon du Chocolat?? We literally stumbled into the patisserie - our very first stop. We were speechless. Slackjawed. We instantly fell in love. I only wish I could have taken home a CAKE! (But at least I have some pretty boxes of chocolate.)
Just exquisite ~ attention to detail on those cakes is amazing!! I can imagine how you felt stepping into this most gorgeous shop I would have been over-awed. Would you believe the last time I went to Brussels I ate at McDonalds !! what was I thinking!!! xx Dianne
