Creamy, chocolaty brioche

Does this look familiar?

Different viennoiserie, same boulangerie.

I can’t help it. Boulangerie Julien has a magnetic pull. At least once a week as I’m walking to work, I must go in.

Usually I just press my nose against the window.

Other times, like when I see a chocolate chip brioche, it's all too easy to give in.

Ha ha - you ladies are funny. NYC Style, very sweet, indeed, but not cloyingly so. Just really creamy and chocolaty but balanced by the bread.

VC, as good as this was, I think the chocolate-raspberry pastry was even better: http://dessertfordinner.blogspot.com/2010/03/breakfast-of-certain-champions.html

dulci, Paris is here for growing up, reflecting on life, meeting new people, fulfilling my dreams... and working on Louis Vuitton's advertising.

I also just found your blog at Paris Breakfasts. Wish I had found you last fall before my first trip to Paris. My first trip to New York City is still in front of me. Can't wait to return to Paris again, maybe next spring. In the meantime I will be enjoying your blog!

Thank you.
