But being as it is Pancake Month, and having chose to meet there for Breakfast Club on the day crunchy banana with cinnamon-chili-chocolate sauce pancakes were being served, Bennie and I sucked it up. We waited in line.
Thank god.
Yes, the special crunchy banana (read: fried banana) pancakes were divine. Especially with the cinnamon-chili-chocolate sauce.
But the good old pancakes with wild Maine blueberries were out of this world.
Light and fluffy, moist and buttery. They were perfect.
Mission accomplished.

Omg!! Clinton St. Bakery is my absolute favourite place to have brunch in NYC! Those pancakes are so yummy. Crepes are great, but I miss my good wholesome pancakes too. Have yet to find an equivalent here in Paris!
No way. I dreamed about blueberry pancakes last night. I'm not even kidding.
Too bad these delicious looking thingeys are so far away...and that I really don't feel like cooking.

Clinton Street is definitely worth the wait. The biscuits and french toast are amazing as well! Now I'm getting hungry!
