So far, cupcakes (but only if they have glace icing, and not a mound of buttercream). But that's maybe only because (shock! horror!) I've never had a macaron - I'm saving this as an eagerly anticipated thing to do when I get to Paris...

I do love a cafe or a caramel macaron, but cupcakes are pretty great. That's a hard one. I guess we have have both?

Carolyn, I feel your pain, er, your indecision. So I think Nikatay has it down: the old 'When in Rome' philosophy is a smart one.
